The Journey

Everyone wants to reach the summit
Everybody wants to succeed
Some people want to help others theirs
Most, selfish and drunk with greed

They'll make their groups and befriend one another
Develop love and treat peers as brothers
Thinking they'll reach the end together
And conquer the hindrances and harsh weather

But the truth hides inside the silent sound
For each hero, they undeniably are bound
To the path they they were born around
their feet glued to that ground

So treat others' problems as you would your own
Remember you'll reap what you have sewn
But remember the journey is yours to face
and at the summit you'll be alone
